Standard Pruning
Species are pruned accordingly based on their particular growth rate and form to maintain dominant central leaders and encourage full branch structures.
Most fast growing cultivars are finished with branch-less trunk below the permanent branch structure. Slow to medium growing species such as oaks are allowed to maintain lower branch structure longer than fastser growth species to develop a sturdy height to trunk diameter ratio.
Custom Pruning Options
Custom pruning is available for orders grown on contract. You can specify at what height the main branch structure should begin, or request a natural look, which maintains a full branch structure to the ground. The ability to custom prune enables us to grow for a specific application or project.
